Pappers.fr was launched in July 2020 by Pierre Fruchard to offer a free service to entrepreneurs

The name “Pappers” strongly recalls the cases related to the Panama Papers, Dubai Papers, Paradise Papers, and other Pandora Papers, which revealed private data of tax evasion on a global scale.
